Meals / Nutrition
My aim is to provide children with a healthy, balanced and nutritious diet using a variety of colours, textures and tastes but avoiding large quantities of fat, sugar, salt, artificial additives, preservatives and colourings.
I provide breakfast, lunch and dinner, with snacks in between -
- Breakfast – 8am
- Morning Snack – 10.30am
- Lunch – 12.30-1.30pm
- Afternoon Snack – 3.00pm
- Evening Meal – 5.00 – 6.00pm
All children are provided with fresh water to drink freely throughout the day, milk and sugar free juices will be offered at meal and snack times.
Children will also be encouraged to help out at meal times, laying the table and helping to prepare simple foods such as sandwiches and salads and will sit at the table to eat main meals and snacks.
Please advise me if your child has any specific dietary needs which I will record and act upon.
